Lone Camping is just beside road no. 580, 19 km from the centre of Bergen. With an area of 13 acres and space for almost 300 tents, it is Bergen's largest campsite. The idyllic location beside Lake Haukeland, with the shapely Liafjellet rising to 650 metres in the background, makes Lone Camping just the thing for people wanting the peace and quiet of the countryside but at the same time wanting the attractions, shops and culture of Bergen within easy reach.
The campsite has a motel building with 12 flats and 18 chalet, including an ecxlusive log cabin. The sanitation is modern, and there is mains electricity for 150 caravans. The motel on the campsite has 12 flats, designed for selfcatering. Two are 33 sq.m. with 6 beds and ten are 22 sq.m. with 4 beds.
