På Voss Vandrarheim bur du sosialt og komfortabelt, men så rimeleg at du kan prioritera opplevingar i ferien din. Vandrarheimen har ein unik plassering like ved Vangsvatnet og er det ideelle bualternativ når ein vil oppleva Voss og den vakre naturen her – både sommar og vinter.
I vintersesongen er Voss eit skieldorado og på sommaren kan du velja mellom fot- og sykkelturar, elvepadling, paragliding, fallskjermhopping, rafting, riding og mykje meir.
Vi ynskjer at Voss Vandrarheim skal ha ein klar økologisk og miljøvennleg profil. Framover vil vi kontinuerlig arbeida med å utvikla spennande lunsj- og middagsmenyar i tillegg til vår økologiske frukostbuffet.

Voss Hostel is a social and comfortable place to stay, perfect for the traveler who wants to spend his money on experiences while on holiday. The hostel is uniquely located right by the lake Vangsvatnet, close to both Voss village and the beautiful nature surrounding it. In the winter Voss is a great destination for alpine and cross country skiing and in the summer you can choose between hiking, biking, kayaking, parachuting, rafting, horseback riding and much more.
We have a total of 40 rooms (200 beds), all with toilet and shower. You can book the rooms for different numbers of people to different rates. There are no telephones or TVs in the rooms, but there is a guest kitchen and TV-room in the hostel. There is also a room for table tennis. In the winter you can use the sauna after a day of skiing and relax by the fireplace in the evening, while in the summer the veranda towards the lake might be your first choice.
Voss Hostel lies on the premises of the farm Finnegarden , a mere kilometer from Voss center. At the farm you can trace the generations back to 13th century. The same family once run the famous Finnegarden at Bryggen in Bergen.
Finnegarden farm is run by Knut Finne (10th generation Finne who runs the farm) and his wife Anne Guri Aas. The Finnegarden, which has been growing organically since 1995, offers organic products to customers all over Hordaland. From now on their profile will include Voss Hostel, where one wishes to strengthen focus on organic food and an ecologically friendly way of doing things. We are continuously developing the kitchen to offer exciting lunch and dinner menus in addition to our organic breakfast buffet.
Norwegian Hostels (Norske Vandrerhjem)
Voss Hostel is part of the organization Norske Vandrerhjem (Norwegian Youth Hostels) with 56 other hostels in Norway. Being a Hostelling International member gives you discounts at all these hostels. It is a certain experience to stay in a hostel. Not only because it costs less, but maybe because of the informal atmosphere and the people you meet, the people that have other purpose with their travels than fancy hotel rooms and expensive dinners. The guests come from all over the world. Some come alone, some with friends and some with family.
